Jianming Liang
Associate Professor
Department of Biomedical Informatics
Dr Liang joined ASU in 2008 after six years with Siemens where he was engaged in research and development activities in the domain of computer aided diagnosis in medical imaging. He holds a PhD degree (2001) in computer science and carried out his thesis work at the Turku Centre for Computer Science in Finland and in the Visual Modeling Group at the University of Toronto in Canada. His research on dynamic chest image analysis received a University Faculty Research Award from the University of Turku. From 2001-02, he was a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada Industrial Research Fellow.
