The Department of Biomedical Informatics in partnership with the University of Arizona supports a partnership between academic researchers, clinical practitioners and regional healthcare providers to advance research and education in the science and practice of biomedical informatics. It is our mission to prepare individuals to make major contributions to the creation and evaluation of computational and informatics tools and their application to biomedical or clinical research, health care practice and administration, public health and the education of health professionals and patients.
